It also allows dependents to accompany you, which is ideal for remote workers with families.

To be eligible for the Taiwan Gold Card, you need to meet certain criteria, such as holding a degree from a renowned university, having a monthly income of at least NT$160,000 (approximately USD $5,670), or having proof of substantial investment in Taiwan. 

Keep in mind you don’t need to meet all the requirements mentioned above.It all depends on what category you want to apply in.The economic category is the most straightforward and just requires proof that you had a salary of $5670 the previous year.

If you meet the requirements, the application process is straightforward, and you could receive your Taiwan Gold Card within 4-6 weeks.
